My Vision for District 3

Plan for Tomorrow While Protecting What Matters Today.

I know that the needs of District 3 go beyond parks. As our city continues to grow at a rapid pace, we need smart development that respects our unique rural heritage while ensuring our infrastructure, roads, water, and public safety can keep up.

I’m running for City Council to bring my proven, consensus-building approach to the dais. I will prioritize engaging community members and stakeholders at every level to ensure that as we grow, we do so thoughtfully. I envisions a Jurupa Valley where my own family and yours can afford to live, play, and thrive for generations to come.

Issues That Jurupa Valley Residents Care About

My priorities are simple. We need responsible growth and reliable infrastructure. I want to support our city to build strong communities.

  • Invest in our infrastructure, including for streets, sidewalks, and neighborhoods
    • Many residents, like myself, live on streets with no sidewalks or light fixtures. We need to invest in areas that have higher foot traffic to address the lack of these amenities.
  • Protect our community & open spaces from warehouses & AI data centers
    • Our residents do not want AI data centers in our backyards. We need to instead bring in development that has strong community benefits agreements to improve and support our city.
  • Ensure Jurupa Valley remains affordable & accessible for working families
    • As our city population grows, the amount of affordable housing being built needs to reflect that. Residents need to have a say in where we build mixed-use and high-density housing so that we can also maintain our rural areas.
  • Expand the Glen Avon Town Centre and uplift small businesses
    • Our city is full of small business entrepreneurs, including street vendors, and we need to give them the support to succeed. I want to stimulate job creation and promote economic growth with a small business incubator program.
